Wabash College senior forward
Nick Curosh has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending Saturday, November 19, 2011.
Curosh helped Wabash improve to a record of 3-0 at that time, which included a 17-point performance by the Whiting, Indiana product in the Little Giants' 84-59 victory over the University of St. Francis. Curosh connected on all eight of his shot attempts from the field to set his personal single-game high with the 17-point effort. He also grabbed seven rebounds, joining teammate
Brian Shelbourne for team-high honors.
Saturday evening Curosh grabbed nine rebounds and scored seven points in a 67-59 Wabash victory over Elmhurst. He was 3-for-4 from the field for the game.
Over the two-game stretch, Curosh shot 11-for-12 from the field, averaged eight rebounds and 12 points per game, and handed out for assists.
