Ronnie Posthauer joined several other Wabash athletes who are trying to earn spots at the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet next week in Claremont, California. Posthauer ran a top-25 time in the 110-meter hurdles Monday at the Ron Althoff Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Posthauer finished in 14.78, his fastest time this year and the 24th-quickest time this season by a men's Division III athlete. The cut list for nationals will be announced on Sunday. Posthauer was the only Wabash athlete to improve his place on the national lists at the two-day event at Ohio Wesleyan.

The Little Giants will have one last opportunity to earn a place at nationals when the group competes at the Gregory Invitational at North Central College on Friday and Saturday.
