The Little Giants controlled nearly every match in Thursday night's 46-4 home wrestling victory over Manchester University.

Wabash picked up forfeits for Alec Weise (125 pounds), Conner Lefever (174 pounds), and Josh Sparks (197 pounds). Michael Venezia gave the Little Giants a 10-4 lead by posting a 10-2 major decision at 141 pounds, scoring two takedowns in the final period.

Jake Strausbaugh earned his 153 career victory with a 15-0 technical fall at 149 pounds. He trails Chris Healy '05 for all-time wins. Healy recorded 159 victories from 2001-2005.

Josh Sampson followed Strausbaugh by scoring an 11-6 victory at 157 pounds. Austin O'Neal dominated his 184-pound bout, recording 10 takedowns on the way to a 25-11 major decision.

Ian Kelton brought the raucous Chadwick Court crowd to its feet with two spinning reversals in his heavyweight bout against Jason Pedigo. Kelton's reversal in the second period turned into a pin at the 3:48 mark of his match for the final team points for Wabash.

The Little Giants are off until February 16 when the squad will compete at the Mid-States Wrestling Conference Tournament at Alma College.
