Wabash College cross country coach Roger Busch has earned US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Coach of the Year honors for the Great Lakes Regional for his team's performance in 2014.
The Little Giants captured their second consecutive NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Regional title last Saturday, placing all seven runners on the USTFCCCA All-Region team with top-30 finishes. Wabash scored a total of 46 points, besting second-place Mount Union (138) by nearly 100 points. The Little Giants also won their second straight North Coast Athletic Conference men's championship — the third NCAC title for the Red Pack in the last four seasons. Busch was named the NCAC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year, adding to his conference Coach of the Year honor awarded to him in 2013 and 2011.
Busch has also earned Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Coach of the Year honors in 2010 and 2013. He was named USTFCCCA Great Lakes Indoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year in 2013, as well.
