Â
"We ran pretty solid," Wabash head coach Colin Young said. "Fabian had a strong finish right behind two All-Americans, and
Colin Rinne really stepped up to be our second guy. Adam also ran solid with his eighth-place finish. Our fourth and fifth runners worked well together but we wanted them to be a little bit farther up than they were.
Â
Luke Doughty finished 28th overall with a time of 26:47.1.
Murphy Sheets crossed the finish line in 27:01.7 to capture 36th place.

Â
Mason McKinney, a First Team All-NCAC performer last season, was unable to compete for Wabash due to an illness.
Â
"We missed Mason," Young said. "He might have made the difference but that's just how it is sometimes when you have somebody hurt or sick. Allegheny ran well and they deserve the victory. Now we will continue to train hard and get ready for regionals."
Â
Wabash had won the last two NCAC titles in addition to racing to the top spot in 2011. The Little Giants won NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional crowns in 2013 and 2014 and will compete in the 2015 national qualifier Saturday, November 14 at the LaVern Gibson Champion Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. The men's race will begin at 12:30 p.m.
