The Hokum Karem, a race created by former Wabash head coach J. Owen Huntsman who dreamed up an event where two-person teams race on a one-mile course with each runner alternating miles. While one member of the team is running, the other rests. At the end of each mile, the runners exchange batons and the incoming team member gets to rest while their partner runs the next mile, completing six miles as a team. The Manchester event adds an additional lap for each runner for a combined total of eight miles.

Wabash returns to action Friday, September 18, competing at the Indiana Intercollegiates at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana.
