Wabash College finished with highest total points among North Coast Athletic Conference schools in the Learfield Sports Director's Cup standings after completion of the fall sports season.

The Little Giants scored a total of 140.5 points for 32
nd place in the standing at the conclusion of fall competition. The Wabash cross country team accounted for 70.5 points with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships. The Little Giants football team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA DIII Playoffs to accumulate 70 points.

The Director's Cup honors institutions maintaining a broad-based program, achieving success in many sports, both men's and women's. Began in 1993-94 for Division I by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and USA Today, it was expanded in 1995-96 to include Division II, III and the NAIA. Each institution is awarded points in a pre-determined number of sports for men and women, with nine men's and nine women's programs recognized among Division III schools.

Wabash was one of seven NCAC schools to earn points in the fall. DePauw University is ranked 33
rd with 139 points gained from women's field hockey (25), women's soccer (50), and men's soccer (64). Allegheny is 59
th (91 points), while Ohio Wesleyan is 68
th (79 points).
