Wabash College Athletics

Roman came to Wabash after 30 months of service in the U.S. Army. A four-year letterman in both football and baseball, he excelled as a running back and quarterback of coach Glen Harmeson's glittering post-war teams which were 21-8-3 with 12 shutouts.

An All-American quarterback in 1949, he obtained his law degree and practiced law in his hometown of Gary, Indiana.
