Wabash turned in 14 season- and personal-best marks at Saturday's Gibson Invitational Track and Field Invitational hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants were one of 24 NCAA Division I, II, and III, and NAIA programs competing at the event.

Kannon Chase scored the lone team points for the Little Giants by placing eighth in the high jump by clearing 1.86 meters (6 feet, 1.25 inches).
Jake Oostman cleared his season-best height of 1.81 meters (5 feet, 11.25 inches) to claim 18th place overall. Oostman also turned in a season-best effort in the discus with a throw of 38.04 meters (124 feet, 9 inches) to claim 30th place in the individual standings.

Owen Smith ran a personal-best time of 57.08 to finish 11th in the 400-meter hurdles.
Ryan Papandria turned in a season-best effort in the javelin with a throw of 47.91 meters (157 feet, 2 inches).
Nate Joven and
Ronnie Moore tied for 14th place in the pole vault. Joven set a season-best mark by clearing 4.01 meters (13 feet, 1.75 inches). Moore matched Joven's effort for his career-best height.

Evan Furuness earned a 19th-place finish in the shot put with a personal-best toss of 13.51 meters (44 feet, 4 inches). Jacob Gruse added a personal-best mark of 11.14 meters (36 feet, 6.75 inches) to place 30th overall.

Mike Holsclaw scored a personal-best leap of 12.61 meters (41 feet, 4.5 inches) to earn a 19th-place finish in the triple jump.

Brayden Curnutt turned in a season-best time of 4:01.72 in the 1500-meter run to place 25th overall.
Aidan Makled's time of 4:05.49 was also a season-best effort to earn the senior a 31st-place finish.
Austin Jewell added a person-best time of 4:21.33 to finish 49th.

Tanner Brooks ran a personal-best time of 11.04 to place 31st overall in the 100-meter dash.
Julius Hearns turned in a season-best time of 11.11 to earn a 36th-place finish.
