Neubauer Turns In Season-Best Time At Clark Wood NCAA DI Meet

Wabash College junior Will Neubauer raced to fifth place in the 800-meter run while competing against a field of NCAA Division I runners at the Clark Wood Track and Field Invitational Friday afternoon at the University of Louisville.
 
Neubauer completed the race in a season-best time of 1:53.10 to win the second of three heats in the 800 and post one of the top 50 times among Division III men this season. He finished behind runners from the University of Cincinnati and Butler University. Cincinnati's Jack Bardchet won the event with a time of 1:51.40.
 
David Adesanya scored an 11th-place finish out of 30 runners in the 800-meter event. The freshman finished in 1:58.56. Haiden Diemer-McKinney placed 19th overall with a time of 2:01.02.
 
Another small group of Wabash track and field members will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, on Saturday to compete at the Sycamore Open beginning at 11 a.m.
