"It was a good effort today and I'm proud of the way we came out, especially in the second half," Wabash head coach Roberto Giannini said. "We came out great at the start of the match and really played well with two or three opportunities to score a goal. Then Oberlin put us on our heels a little bit.
"We had a one versus one with Oberlin's keeper late in the match, but the ball rolled past the keeper and just outside the post."
Matt Paul recorded four saves in goal for Wabash.
The Little Giants (4-4-1, 0-1 NCAC) return to Mud Hollow Stadium on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. non-conference contest against Franklin College.
