Box Score Wabash faced Ohio Wesleyan University, the 2011 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer national champions, in a North Coast Athletic Conference road contest. The home squad tallied two first half goals to claim a 2-0 victory.

Matt Paul and the Wabash defense faced a multitude of shot attempts from the Battling Bishops. OWU fired a total of 40 shot attempts in the contest with 10 ending up on net. Paul made eight saves overall in the contest.
Ohio Wesleyan (8-2-3, 2-1-1 NCAC) scored the first goal of the night in the 14th minute. Gunnar Bloecher collected a ball in the left corner and hit Brian Schaefer with a pass on the left side of the box. Schaefer drilled a shot into the right corner of the net for his fifth goal of the season.
The Battling Bishops added their second goal on a rebound off a save by Paul. Matt Shadoan passed the ball on a restart to Schaefer, whose header was turned away by Paul. Ben Witkoff snared the rebound and scored his first goal of the season.
The Little Giants tested OWU goalkeeper Paul Hendricks with a single shot on goal in the first half and two tries on net in the second.

Wabash (3-10, 1-3 NCAC) hits the road again on Saturday when the Little Giants play another NCAC contest, this time at Denison University.
