Overtime Bites Wabash Soccer Again

Matt Paul grabs one of his seven saves in the Little Giants' 1-0 overtime loss to Kenyon.
Box Score For the third consecutive match and sixth time this season, the Wabash College soccer team watched the opposing team celebrate a game-winning overtime goal. Saturday Kenyon College scored the 1-0 victory at Mud Hollow Stadium against the Little Giants.

JJ Jemison scored the game-winner in the fourth minute of overtime off a pass from Nate Petrou to send the Lords (8-5-2, 4-1-2 NCAC) home as winners.

Freshman Adam Antalis produced two shots on goal for the Little Giants, who were outshot as a team 24-8 overall. Kenyon only managed to put eight of its 24 shots on frame. Matt Paul recorded seven saves.

Wabash (3-13, 1-6 NCAC) will conclude the 2012 season this week with a road game at Wittenberg on Wednesday at 7 p.m. followed by the home finale Saturday against Hiram College at 2 p.m.
