The Wabash goal came in the 18th minute when
Geno James collected a misplayed ball inside the Allegheny 18-yard box and deposited the ball into the open goal. Late in the first half Allegheny's Alejandro Weil evened the score line at one a piece. Both teams would have chances through second half and both overtime periods, but neither team could convert on these opportunities.

"I thought we played really well," Head Coach
Chris Keller said. "We took it to them. We had our chances, two in overtime and two breakaways where, if you're going to win games, you've got to put those away. Credit to their team. John Lichina, who's a three-time All-Conference goalkeeper, kept them up. Lucky for us he's a senior.

"My guys really out worked them. That's that blue collar mentality that we need. It's good to be back home. We're satisfied with the result but not happy because we should have won this game."

Ethan Dove,
Geno James and
Blake Jennings also had multiple shots for the Little Giants.
          Â
Dayton Jennings made the start in goal and played all 110 minutes. Jennings had six saves on the day.
