Â
Wabash seemed unable to find an answer for the Scots' post play. Wooster scored 48 of its 74 points in the paint. Junior forward Dan Fanelly scored 18 points and grabbed four rebounds. Alex LeLonde added nine, and Josh Kipfer produced eight points inside the paint for Wooster. Guard Spencer Williams led the team with 18 points. Â
Â
Missed free throws and turnovers continued to plague the Little Giants team, a story all too familiar to head coach
Kyle Brumett.
Â
"The same glaring issues are still there, turnovers and missed free throws," he said. "I need to go back and look at ways we can fix them. We were down two and had the ball with 12:00 to go in the first half. We were going on a nice run, but we turned the ball over, then did it again on the following possession.
Â
"No one guy out there today was the problem, we were all the problem."
Â
Wabash finished with 17 turnovers with only six assists.
Â
Wabash will take a week off of game competition for final exams before returning to Chadwick Court Monday, December 21, for a 7:30 p.m. contest against in-state rival Franklin College.
