Box Score Wabash exploded for six goals in the second half of its season-opening soccer match at MacMurray Tuesday night, knocking off the Highlanders 7-0.
Â
"We overcame a shaky start," Wabash head coach
Chris Keller said. "Then we got a good goal by
Nikola Kajmakoski. We still struggled a little bit to find our feet even after the goal, but we came out in the second half and played good Wabash soccer to put the game away early in the second half."
Â
"This was a good opportunity for some of our young guys to get on the field and get some playing time and experience," Keller said. "Friday's game going to play a very good Franklin team with some history between our two teams."
