Wabash scored six unanswered goals in the third period to break open a 6-5 lacrosse game at Muskingum University Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants went on to post a 14-7 road victory.

Collin Brennan scored five goals while
Steven Stark added four to help Wabash improve to 4-4 for the season. Brennan opened play with a pair of goals in the 2:30 of play to give the Little Giants the lead they would never relinquish.
Zach Scarano added his second goal of the season to put Wabash up 3-0 before the Muskies (2-4) struck with their first goal of the game.
Spencer Sikes notched a tally midway through the first period before Brennan answered a second Muskingum goal to close out the first 15 minutes of play with a 5-2 Wabash lead.

The Muskies tallied two goals in the second period, sandwiching a goal by
Tucker Dixon to cut the lead to 6-4 at halftime. Muskingum's Zach Kern trimmed the lead to one goal to start the third period before the Little Giants erupted on offense. Stark scored the first and final two goals of the six-score effort in the third.
Sterling Sikes,
Billy Bernhardt, and Brennan added goals to put Wabash in front 12-6. Stark and Brennan connected on the final scores of the game to provide the 14-7 final.

Wabash outshot Muskingum 51-30 and won 18-of-24 faceoffs. The Little Giants cleared 16-of-18 opportunities and were 2-of-6 on extra-man chances.
Samuel Stewart won his fourth game of the season at goaltender for Wabash, recording six saves in the contest.

The Little Giants return to the North Coast Athletic Conference portion of their schedule with a game at Kenyon College next Saturday at 1 p.m.
