Wabash completed the season-sweep of its North Coast Athletic Conference series versus Kenyon College Saturday with a 65-51 home victory over the Lords.

The Little Giants (9-10, 5-7 NCAC) used dominant defense along with double-doubles from
Jack Davidson and
Harrison Hallstrom to lead for the entire game while limiting the Lords (6-13, 3-9 NCAC) to a season-low 3-of-22 shooting from three-point range and 17-of-56 from the field overall.

Davidson scored 15 points and snared 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the year. Hallstrom hit double figures in scoring and rebounds for the seventh time this season with 13 points and 12 boards. The Little Giants owned a 10-rebound advantage for the game, 45-35.
Connor Rotterman scored 13 Wabash, as well.

The Little Giants took an early lead on a three-point basket from Davidson and never looked back. Kenyon stayed close in the opening seven minutes, drawing to within one point on a layup by Ben Stern. Wabash answered with an 11-5 run, sparked in part by a pair of put-back baskets from Hallstrom.

Davidson added another triple with 7:12 remaining in the first half to push the advantage to ten points at 28-18. Wabash led 33-24 at halftime, then pushed its lead to 15 points in the first seven minutes of the final period to move in front 44-29. Kenyon drew no closer than 11 points over the final 20 minutes of the game while Wabash enjoyed its largest lead of the game at 60-43 with 3:15 left to play on a Hallstrom jumper in the lane.

The Little Giants shot 24-of-56 from the field (42.9 percent), including 7-of-23 from three-point range. Wabash turned 10 offensive rebounds into 13 second-chance points and outscored the Lords 32-22 points in the paint.

Colten Garland moved into sole possession of sixth place on the Wabash career three-point basket list with his 110
th career long-range field goal. He finished the game with five points.

Alexander Powell led Kenyon in scoring with 11 points.

The Little Giants swept Kenyon in the two-game regular season series after posting a 70-57 victory in Gambier, Ohio earlier in the year. Wabash will play back-to-back home games Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 3. The Little Giants play Hiram College Friday night at 7 p.m. Allegheny visits Chadwick Court Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest.
