Wabash held a two-point halftime lead over Denison Saturday before the Big Red shot lights out from three-point range in the second half to send the visiting Little Giants to a 93-65 loss.

Wabash (12-13, 8-10 NCAC) took a 30-28 lead into the break after hitting 11-of-31 shots from the field while holding Denison (14-11, 10-8 NCAC) to 11-of-29 shooting and only four three-point tries. The Little Giants scored first on a basket from
Alex Eberhard, but trailed by as many as eight points midway through the first half. Eberhard and
Conner Brens started a 7-0 run to cut the lead to 20-19 three minutes later.

The Little Giants regained the lead with less than two minutes remaining when
Ben Stachowski drained a three-pointer to put Wabash up 28-26. Denison's Jack Coulter scored on a layup with seven seconds left in the half to tie the score, but
Jack Davidson answered with a layup of his own ahead of the buzzer to give Wabash the two-point lead.

The Big Red came out in the second half and shot 25-of-37 from the field (67.6 percent) with a 13-of-20 effort from behind the arc for a game-total of 17 three-point baskets to tie the Denison school record. Wabash hit the first three-pointer of the half to answer a basket by Denison for a 33-32 lead. The Big Red answered with a 16-2 run over the next three minutes to move in front by 13 points. The Little Giants got as close as nine points before Denison put the game out of reach.

Eberhard led Wabash with 21 points. Davidson chipped in 18 points.
Harrison Hallstrom grabbed 11 rebounds for the Little Giants.

Five Denison players scored in double figures, led by Maxwell Siwik with 21 points. Matt Gerics came off the bench to score 17 points. Coulter added 11 points, while Matt Doyle and Fred Brou each finished with 10 points.

Wabash finished the regular season in sixth place in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings. The Little Giants will travel to third-seeded Ohio Wesleyan Tuesday, February 20 for the first round of the NCAC Men's Basketball Tournament. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
