Wabash fans said farewell to the four seniors members of the 2018 lacrosse team prior to its season finale Saturday against Denison. The Little Giants lost to the visiting 11th-ranked Big Red 24-5.

Adrian Tejeda, and
Dajon Thomas came to Wabash (2-13, 0-8 NCAC) as freshmen for the first season of varsity lacrosse to become the first four-year participants in the sport at that level. The four appeared in a total of 202 games in their career, including the Little Giants' first-ever win in program history (11-10 over Calvin College in 2015) and first North Coast Athletic Conference win against Hiram (19-12 in 2016). Tejeda graduates as the Little Giants' all-time leader in ground balls recovered with 145. Geier ranks second in Wabash history in caused turnovers with 60. Thomas ranks fourth in career goals with 34, with Crosley fifth all-time with 25.

Denison (13-3, 7-1 NCAC) scored 12 times in the first period of Saturday's game.
Collin Brennan put Wabash on the scoreboard with his 25th goal of the season.
Tucker Dixon added his team-leading 30th goal of the season in the early moments of the second period.
Chase Cochran scooped up a ground ball off a faceoff five minutes later and raced toward the Denison goal to score his first career goal. Brennan added his second goal of the game to finish the season with 25 total. He added an assist on Crosley's final career goal to close out the scoring for Wabash in the third period.

The five goals are the most scored by the Little Giants in a single game against the perennial national powerhouse Big Red.
