Wabash ended its 2018 spring tennis season with a 5-1 loss to DePauw in the consolation side of the North Coast Athletic Championship Tournament Saturday to place sixth overall in the final conference standings.

The Little Giants finished 13-12 for the season with the loss. Nicholas Pollock scored the lone win for Wabash with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at number five singles. The number one doubles team of Williams Reifeis and Patrick McAuley, ranked second in the Central Region in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, lost for the first time this season in a 9-8 contest against the 15th-ranked team of Greg Frauenheim and Bryce McClanahan from DePauw. The loss puts Reifeis and McAuley to 24-1 for the season. The duo still has a strong chance to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III National Tennis Tournament to be held in May.
