Sophomore basketball player Kellen Schreiber has been named the Wabash College Scholar-Athlete of the Week presented by Hoosier Heartland State Bank.

Schreiber paced Wabash to a 1-1 record last week by averaging 16.5 points and 3.5 rebounds for the Little Giants. He scored 13 points, grabbed six boards, and handed out three assists in an 84-72 home win for Wabash over Mount St. Joseph University. Saturday Schreiber led the Little Giants with a season-high 20 points in an 83-66 road loss at undefeated Elmhurst College. Schreiber has not declared an academic major at this time.
