Wabash faced Wittenberg Saturday afternoon in the seventh-place match of the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament. The Little Giants battled to the final point but came up on the short end of a 5-4 final score.

The senior duo of
Duncan Roy and
Evan Frank closed out their careers with a 9-7 victory at number three doubles to score the first team point for Wabash (8-15).
Patrick McAuley and
Jordan Greenwell forced their number one doubles match to a tiebreaker but lost 8-7 overall with a score of 7-3 in the tiebreaker.

Roy scored a victory at number three singles, winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. Nieshaal Thimbipillay won 7-5, 7-5 at number four singles. Frank add a straight set win 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 victory in the sixth singles flight.
McAuley lost the first set of his number one singles match 6-4 before rallying for a 6-3 win in the second set. He lost 6-3 in the third set to finish 11
th in Wabash tennis history with 53 career singles victories. McAuley is tenth in career doubles wins with 57. Greenwell suffered a three-set loss at number two singles with a final score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in favor of Wittenberg's Gavin Tay. Greenwell won 62 career singles matches to finish fifth on the Wabash all-time victories list. His 53 career doubles wins rank 14
th overall.
