Wabash College placed 47 students competing in varsity athletics for the Little Giants on the 2018-2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
To be named to the NCAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference and hold a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher. A total of 774 student-athletes were named to the 2018-19 Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all 10 full-time NCAC institutions and one affiliate member, Earlham College.
The 47 Wabash honorees were the second-highest total of male student-athletes recognized from any member institution in the conference, trailing only Kenyon with 51. A total of 351 male student-athletes were honored.
While wrestling is not a sport sponsored by the North Coast Athletic Conference, four Wabash wrestlers --- Will Amberger, Chris Wilson, Christian Redmond, and Anthony Cicciarelli --- met the criteria of a 3.50 cumulative GPA and at least a sophomore on the active roster. Wabash is one of only two schools in the NCAC with a varsity wrestling program.
