Wabash College begins the 2019-20 academic year by welcoming four new staff members to its athletics department.
Samantha Emmart,
Ryan Clark,
Seth Clark, and
Sean Osnowitz all started their duties at the beginning of August.
Emmart serves as compliance and business operations coordinator. She arrives at Wabash from Goshen College where she worked as the coordinator of compliance, student services, and kinesiology. She spent two years as a compliance assistant and assistant coach for the track & field and cross country programs at Houghton prior to accepting the position at Goshen.
Emmart earned a Bachelor of Psychology from Houghton College in 2017, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master of Sports Management from Liberty University in 2018. She participated as a member of the Houghton track and field team for two seasons and as part of the cross country team during the 2016-17 season.
Ryan Clark comes to Wabash as coordinator of logistics and operations after serving as the graduate assistant for facilities, events, and game operations at Western Illinois University. Clark earned a Master of Science in sports management from Western Illinois in May 2019 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in sports management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2015.

Clark spent two seasons as an event management assistant at the University of Minnesota. He worked as a guest experience representative for the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. Clark also spent time as a compliance and facilities intern at Hamline University and as a compliance intern at Iowa State University. He also worked one season with the Mankato Moondogs of the Northwoods Baseball League as a game day operations assistant.

Matt Tanney said. "In their respective roles, both will positively enhance our students' experiences and further support our coaches and staff in multiple Athletics and Wellness functions. I'm looking forward to their many contributions to Wabash College."
Seth Clark joins the Wabash staff as strength and conditioning coordinator and as an assistant basketball coach. Clark comes to Wabash from Otterbein University where he served as a graduate assistant for the Cardinals' basketball program. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2018 where he earned a bachelor's degree in human health and kinetics - sports management. Clark was a four-year starter for the Battling Bishops' basketball team, earning First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors in 2015-16 and 2017-18. He added Second Team All-NCAC honors in the 2016-17 season. Clark holds the all-time record for three-point baskets in OWU history with 287 and ranks seventh in career scoring with 1,699 points.
A two-time team captain for the Battling Bishops, Clark helped Ohio Wesleyan win NCACÂ regular season championships for OWU in 2015 and 2016.Â

"His experience as an all-conference player in our league will be a very valuable resource for our current and future players as we continue to try to bring an NCAC conference championship to Crawfordsville. In a short period of time, Coach Clark has impressed me with his hunger to learn. He is anxious to help our student-athletes grow and will make a very positive impact here at Wabash."
Osnowitz joins the Wabash football staff as a running backs coach. He came to the Little Giants' program from The University of West Alabama where he spent one season as a defensive graduate assistant assisting with the defensive line. Osnowitz spent the 2017 season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M coaching linebackers. The son of a football coach, Osnowitz started his coaching career at Samford University as a defensive quality control/student assistant, helping the Bulldogs to the NCAA Football Championship Series playoffs. He served as a defensive intern at Georgia State University in the spring of 2017 before taking the position at NEO A&M.
A 2017 graduate of Faulkner University, Osnowitz earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He played two seasons of football at Faulkner on the Eagles' 2014 West Division champions of the Mid-South Conference. He also spent two seasons at Jacksonville State University as a member of the Gamecocks' 2011 Ohio Valley Conference championship team.
