Wabash extended a 10-point halftime lead to as many as 24 points over the final 20 minutes of Saturday's 88-65 home victory over Denison University.

The win gives the Little Giants (10-7, 6-4 NCAC) a six-game home winning streak as well as a two-game season sweep of the visiting Big Red (5-12, 2-8). Denison came into Saturday's game after having defeated 14
th-ranked Wooster 72-71 three days earlier.

Five Wabash players scored in double figures Saturday, led by
Jack Davidson and
Harrison Hallstrom with a pair of 20-point performances. Hallstrom also grabbed 11 rebounds for his 17
th career double-double and fourth this season. Davidson handed out five of the Little Giants' 20 assists in the game.
Justin Hensley connected on five three-point shots to finish with 15 points to match his career single-game scoring mark.
Tyler Watson and
Connor Rotterman each finished with 10 points.

Wabash trailed by as many as five points in the opening minutes of the contest before a basket by Davidson sandwiched between two layups from Hallstrom put the Little Giants in front 10-9. Denison regained the lead and moved in front by four points on a three-point jumper from Jack Coulter. Rotterman answered with a three-pointer of his own ahead of one of Hensley three-point shots to push Wabash back in front by a point. The Little Giants outscored Denison 11-2 over the next two-and-a-half minutes to push the lead to five points.

Wabash eventually moved the lead to double digits late in the first half on three Davidson free throws. The junior finished 9-of-9 from the stripe as the Little Giants shot 13-of-18 from the free throw line for the game for 72.2 percent.

The Big Red trimmed the lead to as few as six points in the opening minutes of the second half before another Hensley three-point basket combined with two layups from Hallstrom put Wabash up by double digits once again with 12:16 remaining in the game. The Little Giants continues their offensive output with an 11-2 scoring run to put the game out of reach.

Wabash shot 32-of-62 from the field for the game for 51.6 percent and hit 11-of-31 three-point tries for 35.5 percent. Denison finished 23-of-49 from the field overall for 46.9 percent but were held to 10-of-26 shooting in the second half of the game for 38.5 percent. The visiting Big Red went 6-of-18 from three-point range (33.3 percent) and finished 13-of-22 from the free throw line (59.1 percent).

Conor Fenton paced Denison in the game with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Freeman Brou scored 13 points for the Big Red.

The victory completes a two-game series sweep by Wabash over Denison in the North Coast Athletic Conference schedule. The Little Giants remain tied with Ohio Wesleyan and DePauw for third place in conference standings.

Wabash will travel to Ohio Wesleyan Wednesday night for a 7 p.m. contest against the Battling Bishops. The Little Giants won the earlier meeting this season between the two teams by a score of 79-61.
