Sixty-Eight Wabash Student-Athletes Named To NCAC Academic Honor Roll

Wabash College placed 68 students competing in varsity athletics for the Little Giants on the 2019-2020 North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.

To be named to the NCAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference and hold a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher. A total of 978 student-athletes were named to the 2019-20 Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all 10 full-time NCAC institutions and one affiliate member, Earlham College.

The 68 Wabash honorees were the second-highest total of male student-athletes recognized from any member institution in the conference, trailing only Kenyon with 71 male student-athletes named to the honor roll. A total of 450 male student-athletes were honored by the conference.

While wrestling is not a sport sponsored by the North Coast Athletic Conference, two Wabash wrestlers --- Anthony Cicciarelli and Sam Hansen --- met the criteria of a 3.50 cumulative GPA and at least a sophomore on the active roster. Wabash is one of only three schools in the NCAC with a varsity wrestling program.
