Wabash produced 606 yards of total offense and scored eight touchdowns to snap a two-game losing streak with a 59-34 road win at Kenyon Saturday.

Wabash (6-2, 5-2 NCAC) ran for five touchdowns in the game. Quarterback
Liam Thompson threw for three scores while passing for a career-high 431 yards.

The Little Giants and Kenyon (2-6, 2-5 NCAC) traded first-quarter scores before Wabash picked up a three-yard Thompson run and nine-yard pass from Thompson to
Jackson Clayborne for a 21-7 lead. The Lords answered with back-to-back touchdowns to tie the game at 21-21 five minutes into the second quarter.

Thompson connected with sophomore wide receiver
Derek Allen on a 75-yard catch and run on the first play from scrimmage after the game-tying score from Kenyon. The 75-yard pass tied the longest of Thompson's career and helped Allen to a career-best 181 receiving yards. Allen caught five passes total with two ending in touchdowns for the Little Giants.

Kenyon matched the Wabash offensive output once again to tie the game at 28-28 midway through the second period. Thompson provided the lead the Little Giants would not relinquish just before halftime by ending a 10-play, 81-yard drive with a seven-yard TD run to give Wabash a 35-28 halftime lead.

The Little Giants outscored Kenyon 10-6 in the third period. Wabash got a 40-yard field goal from
Jacob Handley and a 10-yard
Cade Campbell TD run to offset a Kenyon TD and missed extra point. A 14-0 fourth quarter put the game out of reach for Wabash. The Little Giants scored on a 28-yards Thompson-to-Allen TD pass and a
Donovan Snyder seven-yard run.

 Thompson was an efficient 18-of-27 passing in the game. He carried the ball 11 times for 40 yards and ran for a career-best three touchdowns. Thompson entered the game ranked seventh among Division III players in point responsible for with 21 passing touchdowns and five rushing TDs.

Snyder led the Wabash rushing attack with 25 carries for 120 yards and one score.
Cooper Sullivan caught a team-high six passes for 145 yards to give the Little Giants two receivers with more than 100 yards for the second game in a row.

The Wabash defense intercepted a season-high three passes and held Kenyon to 109 total rushing yards. The Lords finished with 447 yards of total offense by completing 24-of-37 passes for 338 yards and two TDs. Wabash linebacker
Joe Rios recorded two interceptions and
Will Netting picked off a third Kenyon pass.
David Marsh led the Little Giant defense with nine tackles with five solo stops. Netting recorded seven tackles. Cade Lansell finished with two sacks for Wabash.
Seth Buresh added another sack to his career totals, giving him 18-1/2 for his career.

Wabash closes out the regular season with two home contests, beginning with a 1 p.m. contest next Saturday against Wittenberg University.
