Wabash College honored the two senior members of the 2021 lacrosse team, 
Joe LaRue and 
AJ Shaheen, prior to Saturday's season finale against Wittenberg. Shaheen scored one of three goals for the Little Giants in a 23-3 loss in North Coast Athletic Conference action versus the Tigers.
 
LaRue finished his career with 30 games played and recorded 31 ground balls. He caused a total of 26 turnovers to rank ninth in Wabash lacrosse history. Shaheen scored the final for Wabash (4-9, 0-8 NCAC) with a shot in the final 2:18 of the game. The goal was his 19th of the season and 44th of his career. Shaheen ranks second in Wabash history in game-winning goals with five and total goals with 44. He has also handed out 16 career assists to tie for fifth in Wabash lacrosse history in that category.
 
Wabash trailed Wittenberg (5-5, 4-2  NCAC) by a score of 6-0 before 
Joseph Plencner notched his 19th goal of the season off a pass from 
AJ Rogers with 4:13 remaining in the first period. 
Ethan Stonis added a second goal for the Little Giants with 3:26 left in the fourth period.
 
Wabash attempted 21 shots to 55 by Wittenberg. The Little Giants won 12-of-30 faceoffs. 
Brigham McGill finished the day 7-of-19 at the dot. 
Dylan Lewis won five out of eight faceoff attempts.
 
Evan Schiefelbein added to his season-record number of ground balls by scooping up nine against the Tigers. He finished the season with a school-record 107 ground balls in 13 games. Schiefelbein and Lewis each caused two turnovers defensively for Wabash in the game.
 
Stephen Krajcir recorded six saves and faced 26 shots on goal. 
Jack Sullivan played the final 5:41 at goalkeeper for Wabash but did not record a save.
 
The Little Giants finished the season with a 2-4 record at home with wins over Mount St. Joseph University and Anderson University.
