The Wabash tennis team opened North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division play on Saturday with a pair of home matches versus Wittenberg University. The Little Giants lost the opener 8-1 prior to a 5-0 loss in the second contest.
 
Trevor McKinney scored the lone victory for the Little Giants in the opening match. The freshman captured a three-set victory with a rally after a 6-1 loss in the opening set. He won the second set 6-1 over Roy Jensen before taking the sixth-singles match by a score of 10-7 in the third set.
 
Wabash will play two matches next week against DePauw University. The first contest will take place Thursday, April 8 at the Collett Tennis Center beginning at 5 p.m.
