Box Score Coledon Johnson scored a pair of goals Friday to give the Wabash College soccer team a 2-0 victory at Principia College. The victory evened the Little Giants' season record at 2-2.
 
Johnson scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the first half to provide the game-winning goal. He added his fifth of the season in the second half to lock up the win.
 
"We played really well in the first half," Wabash head coach Chris Keller said. "We had some opportunities to go up early even more than the 1-0 lead. We got a lot of players into the game in the second half to try and save our legs for Sunday's game at Fontbonne.
 
"It was a great performance by our back line to get the first shutout of the year. Coledon scored a couple of good goals to give us the victory on the road."
 
Wabash continues its weekend road trip when it plays at Fontbonne University Sunday at 5 p.m. (CDT).
