CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN --Wabash committed 16 turnovers that created 18 Earlham points and shot just 31 percent from the field in Wednesday evening's 65-57 loss at home in non-conference basketball action.

The Little Giants (5-2), ranked 25th in the first D3hoops.com regular season top-25 poll, turned the ball over 12 times in the first half leading to 14 points for Earlham (1-4). The Wabash miscues, combined with an 8-for-27 shooting effort from the field, allowed the visiting Quakers to take an 11-point lead at halftime, 33-22. The Little Giants struggled from behind the arc as well as from two-point range in the opening 20 minutes, making on 3-of-11 three-point attempts.

Wabash battled back in the second half after trailing 42-32 with 14:37 left to play in the final period. The Little Giants outscored Earlham 9-3 over the next two minutes to cut the lead to two points at 45-43. The Quakers maintained their edge until free throws from Champ McCorkle and Vinny Buccilla tied the score at 49-49 with 7:18 left on the clock.

Four players scored double figures for Wabash, led by Ahmoni Jones, who finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Sam Comer tacked on 11 points and eight rebounds, and Edreece Redmond added 10 points. Buccilla scored 10 points, as well.
