Wabash lost 7-4 to in-state foe Hanover on Sunday afternoon at Fischer Field.

The host Little Giants (3-0) picked up two goals from
Caulin Fitzgerald along with goals from
Ethan Stonis and
Joseph Plencner. Plencner and
Artie Rogers also recorded assists for Wabash.

Matthew Hendrick made 11 saves for Wabash in the contest.
Luka DiFilippo won 12 of 15 faceoffs in the contest.

Hanover (3-1) scored two early goals before Plencner notched his goal in the second period. Fitzgerald scored one of two man-up goals for the Little Giants to make it a 3-2 contest after Hanover has scored late in the second period to take a 3-1 lead at halftime. Wabash went 1-for-5 in man-up situations but shut out Hanover on all five of its extra-man chances.

Stonis scored with the Little Giants down a man on one of the Panthers' extra-man tries. Fitzgerald scored midway through the final period to make the score 5-4 until Hanover scored two more goals to claim the three-score victory.
