CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana -- Wabash lost to Webster 2-0 Sunday in the final match of the 2022 Robbie Dreher Soccer Classic played Saturday and Sunday at Fischer Field.
Wabash fell to 4-2-0 on the season after the defeat.
How it Happened
Webster (2-1-1) scored the game-winning goal in the ninth minute on a shot from Noah Abraham. Aamahn Murvin earned the assist. The Gorlocks added an insurance goal from Abraham on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute to secure the victory.
Soren Russell recorded four saves in goal for Wabash. The Little Giants fired eight total shots in the match, one of them on goal. Jose Escalante led the team with two shots overall. Caleb Castaño put the only shot on goal in the match for the Little Giants. Wabash faced 14 Webster shots, six of them on goal.
