Wabash Opens Conference Play With 48-14 Win At Wooster

Six different players reached the end zone, led by two scores from Donovan Snyder, as Wabash rolled past Wooster 48-14 on Saturday afternoon inside John P. Papp Stadium.

The Little Giants improved to 2-1 on the year and 1-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while the Fighting Scots fell to 2-1 and 1-1.

Liam Thompson led Wabash's passing attack with a career-high 435 yards through the air, tossing four touchdowns without throwing an interception. The signal caller also added 23 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

Snyder paced the Little Giants' rushing attack by accumulating 68 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the game, averaging 4 yards per carry. Xavier Tyler also added 37 yards on the ground, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.

Thompson's most prolific target in the ballgame was Cooper Sullivan, who caught five passes for 134 yards and one score. Jacob Riddle got in on the action in the passing game as well, hauling in two balls for 80 yards. The Little Giants also got 68 yards receiving and one touchdown from Penn Stoller in the contest.

Wabash held the WOO off the board before scoring for a final time with 11:46 remaining in the third quarter, stretching their lead to 48-14. Neither team scored again in the game.
