Wabash Winning Streak Ends With 1-0 Loss To Rose

CRAWFORDSVILLE, INDIANA -- Wabash saw its three-game winning streak to open the 2022 soccer season come to an end Wednesday evening in a 1-0 home loss to Rose-Hulman 1-0 at Fischer Field.

How it Happened

Wabash (3-1) kept Rose-Hulman (2-0) scoreless in the first half before giving up the lone goal to the Fightin' Engineers' Tatenda Mafa in the 51st minute. The Little Giants recorded 11 shots overall in the contest, seven of them on goal. Wabash faced 12 Rose-Hulman shots, four of them on goal. Soren Russell recorded three saves in the start at goalkeeper.
