FORT MYERS, FL -- Freshman Benjamin Henke collected four hits to help lead the Wabash Little Giants over the St. John's (MN) Johnnies 16-6 on Friday.
In addition to his four hits, Henke had two RBI to lead the Little Giants. Sophomore Michael Galanos compiled a standout day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Senior Brayden Lentz also helped out for Wabash, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding a walk and three RBI.
Sophomore Grant Stratton (1-2) started on the mound and picked up the win for Wabash (9-4). The right-hander went seven innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on seven hits, allowing two walks, and striking out six. Freshman Connor Lambert also made an impact on the mound for the Little Giants, throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits.
