The Wabash College tennis team faced nationally-ranked Denison Saturday afternoon in a North Coast Athletic Conference home match. The Little Giants lost in straight sets to the 14th-ranked Big Red squad 9-0.
 
Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez and Augusto Ghidini played 12 games in their number-two doubles match in an 8-4 loss. Cole Shifferly battled to a 6-3, 6-3 loss at number two singles for the Little Giants.
 
The road gets no easier for Wabash on Sunday. The Little Giants play Kenyon College at home at 11 a.m. The visiting Lords rank 17th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III men's poll.
