The Wabash College tennis team completed a weekend sweep of North Coast Athletic Conference matches with a 7-2 win at Ohio Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon.

Wabash (12-5, 3-1 NCAC) rallied from a 2-1 deficit after Ohio Wesleyan (5-6, 0-3 NCAC) won two doubles matches.
Augusto Ghidini and
Eduardo Werneck combined for an 8-2 victory in the third flight for the Little Giants.

Wabash won all six singles matches, beginning with a 6-0, 6-0 victory by Tharakash Ashokar at number five singles.
Cole Shifferly won at number two singles by scores of 6-4 and 6-1.
Liam Grennon scored a 6-2, 6-2 win at number six singles. Ghidini added a 6-4, 6-3 win at number four singles.

Cole Borden and
Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez played to three sets in their wins at number three and one singles. Borden lost the opening set of number three singles 7-6 (6) before winning the match, dominating 6-0 and 10-1 wins in the second and third sets. Alonso-Sanchez lost his opening number-one singles set 6-0 but returned to win 7-5 and 11-9 in the final two sets.

The Little Giants defeated Wittenberg University 8-1 Friday afternoon to start the two-win weekend series. Wabash returns to action Thursday afternoon with a 5:45 contest against DePauw University.
