Wabash Bats Stay Hot In 14-6 Win Over 13th-Ranked Misericordia

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL -- Junior Michael Galanos and sophomore Benjamin Henke each racked up three hits to help lead the Wabash College Little Giants past the No. 13 Misericordia University Cougars 14-6 on Tuesday.

Sophomore Jackson Woehr (1-0) got the win out of the bullpen for Wabash (3-2). The right-hander went 2.2 innings, giving up three runs on three hits. Dylan Haslett worked the final 3.1 innings, limiting Misericordia (5-4) to one run on five hits to earn his first save. Haslett struck out two of the 17 batters he faced in the game.

Galanos' three-hit day led the Little Giants offensively. Senior Kamden Earley also added a walk and three RBI to his three-hit performance. Henke put together three hits in five trips to the plate, adding a double and two RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Little Giants scored in six different innings on the way to victory. Wabash took the lead in the first inning on Misericordia's error with senior AJ Reid at the plate that brought home senior Reece Bauer.
