The Wabash College tennis team celebrated Senior Day and its final home match of the 2024 spring season with a 9-0 victory in North Coast Athletic Conference action against Ohio Wesleyan University on Sunday afternoon.
The 9-0 win came 24 hours after posting a 9-0 victory at Wittenberg

Wabash (12-7, 4-1 NCAC) honored seniors
Cole Borden and
Liam Grennon before their final home match. The twosome won their final home doubles match with an 8-2 victory in the second flight.
Augusto Ghidini and
Cole Shifferly combined for an 8-2 win at number one doubles, and
Ethan Koeneman and
Rafael Rin scored an 8-2 victory in the third doubles flight.

Shifferly picked up a straight-sets win in his number-one singles match with scores of 7-6 (7-5) and 6-4. Ghidini rallied for a three-set win at number two singles. He lost the opening set 4-6 before picking up wins of 6-4 and 10-7. Borden earned a 6-3, 6-1 victory at number three singles.
Tharakesh Ashokar won 6-4, 6-0 at number four singles.
Vittorio Bona posted back-to-back scores of 6-1 to earn a straight-sets win at number five singles. Koeneman closed the match with a 6-0, 6-3 win in the sixth singles flight.
