Wabash scored nine runs in the first three innings of Thursday's non-conference baseball game against Greenville University. The Little Giants held on for a 14-8 home victory against the visiting Panthers to record a third consecutive win. The victory avenged an early road loss at Greenville.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Scheidt opened the bottom of the first inning with a leadoff triple and scored on a sacrifice fly from Reid to give Wabash a 1-0 lead. The Little Giants added six runs in the second inning with a bases-loaded walk to Scheidt. Another run crossed on a dropped sacrifice fly hit to left-center field ahead of a two-run double by Earley.
Nick Logan lifted another sacrifice fly to left field to bring home Reid, and then
Evan Neukam completed the six-run frame with an RBI double down the left-field line.
