CINCINNATI, Ohio --- Wabash scored five first-period goals and matched Muskingum University goal for goal over the final three periods to earn a 12-6 victory on Saturday in a neutral-site contest played at Mount St. Joseph University.

Wabash (3-0) trailed 1-0 after the Muskies (0-2) tallied the game's first goal.
Evan Bair tied the match at 1-1 before
Quinn Fitzgerald gave Wabash the lead with the first of his seven goals.
Will Sorg added a goal with 5:21 left in the first period before
Blake Stephens and Fitzgerald scored to finish the quarter for a 5-1 lead for the Little Giants.

Fitzgerald added two more goals in the second period to equal goals by Muskingum, providing a 7-3 lead for Wabash at halftime.

Muskingum opened the second half with another goal that was answered by two more from Fitzgerald.
Christian Dybedock tallied the final goal of the third period to put the Little Giants up 10-4. Fitzgerald and
Jake Pippen notched four-period goals to equal two Muskie goals in the 12-6 final.

Bair added three assists with his goal. Fitzgerald and
Sam Santiago each tallied two assists.
Luka DiFilippo won 14 of 20 faceoffs for Wabash and scooped up a team-best seven ground balls.
Charlie Rafalko and
Quinn Shefferly each caused two turnovers for Wabash.

Colin Krekeler recorded 15 saves to earn his third victory of the season in goal for the Little Giants.
