REDLANDS, California --- Weather affected the Wabash College tennis team's schedule for the second consecutive day, ending one match early and postponing a second on Wednesday 24 hours after canceling the Little Giants' scheduled Tuesday competition.
 
Wabash (8-5) lost a 4-0 contest to Haverford College that was played to decision due to rain in the Southern California region. The Little Giants' second match at the University of Redlands was postponed and will be played later in the week. Wabash was scheduled to play nationally-ranked Washington University – St. Louis on Tuesday, but weather forced that match to be canceled.
 
Wabash lost the three doubles matches to Haverford and the number two, four, and five singles matches. The Little Giants had split the first two sets at number one, three, and six singles when rain forced those matches to be ended.
 
Wabash and Redlands will try to play either Thursday or Friday before the Little Giants return to campus at the end of their spring break trip.
