HOW IT HAPPENED

Will Phillips, then raced home on a single from Cvelbar. A bases-loaded walk to Neukam brought in the third running of the inning.

Henke came across to score the lone run of the inning for Wabash on a sacrifice fly by Cvelbar, which tightened the Mariners lead to 7-4.
Merchant Marine built its lead to 10-4 before the Wabash offense got back to work, reducing that by scoring one run in the seventh on a Henke ground out.
