Wabash Holds Off Westminster For Five Set Victory

FULTON, Missouri – Wabash won the first two sets of Friday evening's NCAA Division III men's volleyball match at Westminster College. The Little Giants held on to earn a 3-2 win with a 15-10 advantage in the decisive fifth set.
 
 Wabash (14-7) won the first two sets 25-20 and 20-17. Westminster (16-13) rallied for wins in the third and fourth sets 25-14 and 25-19 before the Little Giants scored the five point in the tiebreaker.
 
Zev Wolverton recorded a career-best 20 kills to lead the Little Giants on offense. Bawibawi Thang picked up 16 kills. Patrick Volk put away 14 attacks for Wabash in the victory. Will Beikes handed out 49 assists and finished with a .454 set percentage. Piotr Wolan made a team-high 16 digs and posted a perfect reception percentage on 25 opportunities.
 
The Little Giants wrap up their Missouri trip and the regular season road portion of their 2025 schedule on Saturday with a 4 pm CDT match at Maryville University.
