CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana -– Wabash faced Kenyon College in the Little Giants' first North Coast Athletic Conference men's lacrosse game of the 2025 season. The Little Giants limited the Owls to 11 goals but lost in the low-scoring affair at Fischer Field 11-2.
Wabash (6-3, 0-1 NCAC) got a second-period goal from
Sam Santiago to cut into a 4-0 Kenyon (6-3, 1-0 NCAC) lead.
Quinn Fitzgerald scored his team-leading 21
st goal in the fourth period after assisting on Santiago's second-period tally.
Wabash put up 27 shots versus 48 from the Owls. Little Giant goalkeeper
Colin Krekeler made 21 saves while facing 32 shots on goal. He also led the team with eight ground balls. Krekeler and Bryce Pohling each caused three turnovers on defense.
The Little Giants travel to Delaware, Ohio, next Saturday to face Ohio Wesleyan University in a 1 pm NCAC contest.
