CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana --- Wabash looked to rebound from a five-set home battle on Saturday with a Sunday home match against Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League foe Baldwin Wallace. The Little Giants rallied after losing the opening set to even the score at 1-1 but eventually fell 3-1 to the visiting Yellow Jackets.

Wabash (14-10, 2-4 MCVL) took league-leading Mount Union to five sets on Saturday and needed a win over Baldwin Wallace (18-9, 6-1 MCVL) to keep any hopes of a conference tournament appearance alive. Wabash lost the opening set 25-18 before earning a 25-23 victory in the second set that featured 13 ties and six lead changes.

Baldwin Wallace claimed the third set 25-23 before holding off a final Wabash rally in the fourth set. The Yellow Jackets jumped out in front 9-4 and eventually took a 15-9 edge before the Little Giants mounted their comeback, rallying to tie the score at 15-15. The two teams traded points to a 19-19 tie before Baldwin Wallace moved in front 21-19 on the way to a 25-22 victory.

Bawibawi Thang led the Little Giants with 17 kills and a .286 attack percentage, with a team-high 14 digs.
Zev Wolverton put away 10 kills and hit at a .241 percentage for the match.
Will Beikes gave out 35 assists.
Gabriel Brandenburg put up five service aces in the match for Wabash.

The Little Giants close the regular season with two home matches next weekend, beginning with a Friday MCVL contest against Adrian College at 7 p.m.
