Campbell Throws Four TDs, Wabash Routs St. Norbert in Season Opener

DE PERE, Wis. — Brand Campbell threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns to lead Wabash College to a 55-21 season-opening win at St. Norbert on Saturday afternoon.

Campbell completed 15 of 20 passes without an interception and became the first Wabash quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in a game since Liam Thompson against Wittenberg in 2023. He connected twice with Carson Chadd, including a 63-yard strike in the first quarter and a 7-yard score just before halftime. Campbell also threw touchdown passes to Luke Adams from 26 yards and to Konner Chase from 13 yards.

The Little Giants (1-0) racked up 537 yards of total offense, with 321 through the air and 216 on the ground. Cole Dickerson added a 47-yard touchdown run, while Xavier Tyler opened the scoring with a 3-yard plunge.

Special teams added to the fireworks when Gage Gulley blocked a punt and returned it five yards for a touchdown in the second quarter — the first blocked punt returned for a score by Wabash since 2013. Tyler Church later drilled a 44-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, the longest by a Little Giant since 2019.

Defensively, Wabash limited St. Norbert (0-1) to 220 total yards and forced two turnovers. Tony Flatt intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter and returned it 40 yards. Wade McAllister and Jerry McBee each registered sacks, while Carson Foxen made five tackles, including one for a loss. Tanner Crouch also recorded five tackles with one tackle for a loss. The Little Giants held the Green Knights to just 72 rushing yards on 33 attempts.

Wabash will host Case Western Reserve University next Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Little Giants' home opener at Little Giant Stadium
