Dellinger Leads Wabash to Seventh-Place Finish at NCAC Championship

WARREN, Ohio — Leo Dellinger shot a 2-over-par 74 Sunday to lead Wabash College in the final round of the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship at Avalon Lakes Golf Club.

Wabash carded its best team round of the tournament Sunday with a 312 to finish seventh with a three-round total of 946, 82-over par. The Little Giants opened with a 316 on Friday and followed with a 318 on Saturday before closing with Sunday's 312.

Dellinger posted the top individual finish for Wabash, tying for 11th place with a three-round score of 229. He followed rounds of 79 and 76 with Sunday's 74, shooting 1-over 37 on both the front and back nine. Dellinger made two birdies in the final round, scoring a 3 on the par-4 second hole and a 4 on the par-5 sixth hole.

Dellinger finished the tournament with eight birdies, tied for the most by a Wabash player and tied for third among the total field of players. He also recorded 29 pars over the three rounds and played the par-5 holes at even par for the championship.

Charlie Seaburg matched his opening-round 77 on Sunday to finish tied for 33rd place at 243. Seaburg was 1-over after a front-nine 37 and finished the day at 5-over par. He recorded three birdies in the final round, making a 3 on the par-4 second hole, a 3 on the par-4 fifth hole, and a 2 on the par-3 16th hole. Seaburg finished the tournament with seven birdies.

Finn Carteaux finished 30th overall with a 240 after rounds of 80, 79, and 81. Carteaux closed the tournament with a 9-over 81 Sunday, including a 2-over 38 on the back nine. His under-par hole came at the par-3 12th, where he made birdie with a 2. Carteaux finished with 29 pars over the three-day event.

Mason Pierle tied for 31st place with a 242 after posting rounds of 80, 81, and 81. Pierle shot a 41 on the front nine and a 40 on the back nine Sunday. He recorded 31 pars for the tournament, the highest total among Wabash players.

Liam McAllister finished tied for 35th place with a 244 after rounds of 82, 82, and 80. McAllister closed with his best round of the tournament Sunday, shooting a 5-over 41 on the front nine and a 3-over 39 on the back nine. He birdied the par-4 15th hole with a 3 and finished with 29 pars for the championship.

John Carroll won the team title with a 54-hole score of 898, 34-over par, after rounds of 299, 299, and 300. Wittenberg finished second at 902, followed by Kenyon in third place at 904. DePauw placed fourth with a 920, Ohio Wesleyan finished fifth at 937, Denison placed sixth at 940, Wabash finished seventh at 946, and Wooster was eighth at 952.

John Carroll's Wade Boyle won medalist honors with a three-round score of 219, 3-over par. He shot an even-par 72 Sunday to move into first place. John Carroll teammate Justy VonLehmden finished second at 220, while Kenyon's Jonathan Oakes placed third at 221 after firing a 4-under 68 in the final round. Wittenberg's Mark Sulek and DePauw's Andrew Wall tied for fourth at 223.
